If you want to make a difference then install radiator insulation panels... if you want to do more get an energy efficient kettle, more then consider solar hot water.. and maybe more?
With the future price of fossil fuels being uncertain many individuals and businesses are determined to do everything in their power to avoid being held to ransom by circumstances seemingly beyond their control. In recent months energy prices have soared to record levels and are only now starting to reduce. Our energy supply is precarious with finite resources. More and more we rely on non U.K companies and governments for the supply of our energy, it is anyones guess as to how reliable these supplies are in the future and one can only guess at what the situation may be if at some time in the future this supply became threatened or withdrawn either temporarily or permanently!
More and more alternative energy sources are not just morally, but also as previously stated now, economically viable.
Isn't it time we took control to bring about both a sound economic and more socially responsible method of providing heating and lighting for ourselves, our families, public buildings, educational facilities and business in general?
Isn't it time to wake up, snap yourself out of your inertia and do something! Even if it is something as simple as fitting radiator insulation panels or getting an energy saving kettle.
Why doesn't your employer have energy saving kettles, why don't you have one? It will pay for itself before you know it and you will also be doing your bit and significantly more than 99% of the rest of the population. If we all had just an energy saving kettle it would save the equivalent of the annual street lighting bill for the whole of the U.K.
