DETAILED INFORMATION
Our clients principal corporate aim for industry, commerce, public sector and homeowners is known as Carbon Reduction and/or Carbon Management. This is typically the reduction of CO2 (carbon dioxide) and other 'greenhouse gas' emissions which are responsible for global warming & climate change. The UK Government declares that climate change is the World's 'biggest threat' and that the UK needs a 'step change in energy efficiency' and has committed to a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions by the year 2010 and 60% by 2050 (Kyoto Accord etc.). This target is to be mainly achieved by burning less fossil fuels in the factory, power station, commerce or home using improved techniques or alternative systems. UK initiatives and funding through theEnergy Saving Trust Energy Conservation - The ability to achieve the same level of production, comfort & transport using less energy by reducing wastage and improving efficiency.
Renewable & Alternative Energy Systems - The ability to use alternative forms of energy such as wind, solar, bio-mass, hydro-electric, hydrogen, air/water/ground source and geothermal to replace fossil fuels with zero, net zero or reduced carbon emissions.
This unique prospect and investment in your future, to further your career with our assistance, will help you to provide services and/or products that are needed, fashionable, topical, marketable, attractive to end users and are often supported and funded by the UK Government. Our services and products provide carbon reduction, reduce CO2 emissions, save operating costs, protect the environment and reduce the need for reliance on mineral deposits or oil/gas/coal reserves. We are in the right place at the right time to take advantage of the huge new market for these services. You can start as a part time self-employed associate to minimise your financial exposure and then as fees are earned take on more involvement. Alternatively, if in the targeted geographical areas, you can be directly employed by one of our affiliated companies as a home energy efficiency surveyor on a basic wage plus a bonus based on the number of surveys completed. We provide assistance in all of the areas below to enable you, if suitable, to invest in a career and take up some of the expertise.
You can decide to work for clients in either or both of the following areas:
Domestic homeowners
– to promote domestic energy efficiency performance surveys for funded loft and cavity wall insulation and possibly condensing boiler replacements and also in many cases for “Decent Homes” – and/or
<,b>Industrial, commercial and public sector clients
– to work for our clients or one of their affiliated companies to promote initially free site energy scoping surveys followed by other fee paying consultancy work and/or capital projects.
The opportunities, therefore, fall into the following 5 main categories (plus 1 additional longer term sustainable living category) - all of which are very topical and needed in the industrial, commercial, public sector and domestic areas and are expanded in more detail, with other opportunities, in our attached documentation. The UK market for the supply and installation of high efficiency energy saving systems and equipment and renewable energy systems is considerable. The free consultancy or site scoping visits are the door-opener to the follow-on services which can offer the greatest earnings opportunity. The 5 areas of expertise and potential available through us or our affiliated companies are:
Home Energy Efficiency
– Our clients can provide qualifying homeowners free surveys for funded loft and cavity wall insulation and possibly condensing gas boiler & water heater upgrades or new installations to dramatically reduce the annual heating and hot water costs. In addition there may be a requirement whilst doing the survey to look for scope under the Decent Homes Standard scheme (www.communities.gov.uk/housing/decenthomes/). An average site survey and filling in of a form takes 1 hour and typically 6 sites will be sourced/provided a day and each site survey is worth £15 to £45 per survey. If interested in this opportunity please confirm by e-mail.

Energy Conservation & Renewable Energy Consultancy
- Our clients and/or their affiliates provide industrial & commercial site surveys, audits, reports, design & feasibility studies for recognised fees. Also included are free site scoping surveys and the control of client energy/utility costs through supply contract negotiation. The site surveys identify typically 30% savings in energy and pay fees of say £300+ per man-day (+ expenses of typically £100 per day) for the engineer that does the survey and are worth £1,000-£10,000 per site. The ability to offer this service opens the door to the many other opportunities with the client. Site surveys or scoping exercises are one of the easier fee services to market and attract a 15% sales commission on the total value of survey fees generated. If interested in this opportunity (and the ones below) please contact us so that we can arrange an interview.
Energy Conservation, Renewable Energy, Electrical Contracting, Project Management & Funding
- Our client and their affiliates are electrical contractors, install recognised monitoring/control equipment, high efficiency energy conservation equipment and renewable & alternative energy systems - often identified in the above site surveys - which save the client typically 20% - 30% of their energy use/costs. These contracts are valued at £5,000 to £100,000 per client site and attract a commission of 15%/30% of the gross margin for the associate acting as a marketing/project manager. In addition we can provide expertise in solar energy (PV & thermal), wind energy, bio-mass & ground source & geothermal energy, heat pumps, micro CHP etc. applicable to industry, commerce or the home. Also included is the ability to offer clients advice to access tax allowances, grants, funding, finance and leasing options for the funding of the energy saving capital projects.
NHER, SAP, BREEAM assessments & Air Leakage
- Our Clients can provide the required expertise to assess the energy performance of existing or planned buildings in the commercial and domestic areas for architects, housing associations, developers or homeowners - which is now required due to various areas of Government legislation. This is performed for recognised professional fees - NHER (National Home Energy Rating) is the UK's largest energy rating scheme and part of the home information packs for sellers - http://www.nher.co.uk/index.php SAP (Standard Assessment Procedure) Rating reflects the notional cost/m² of providing energy for heating and domestic hot water in a dwelling - http://projects.bre.co.uk/sap2005/ - BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) assesses the total performance and carbon footprint of any type of existing or new building - http://www.bre.co.uk/page.jsp?id=829 Air leakage testing, also known as pressure testing, air permeability testing and air tightness testing of residential buildings is part of the Building Regulations April 2006 part L1A and stipulates that all new dwellings must demonstrate they are airtight to an agreed standard.
Waste & Water Management & Land Remediation
- Our client has affiliates offering this important expertise. With current environmental restrictions, the escalating cost of land fill & water treatment - scope is ensured for the future. All clients interested in energy conservation will have a similar interest in water conservation & waste minimisation. Land remediation is driven by environmental legislation & the very high cost of land suitable for development.
Biodiesel and Renewable Building Materials for Low Cost Affordable Housing
- Our client has current/future access to the technology to make biodiesel fuel from renewable resources of vegetable, organic or animal oils and this can be sold as a fuel or used as a raw material to produce polyurethane type building panels and rigid foams for modular affordable housing systems particularly for the Third World. Biodiesel can be easily sold at a competitive price to many interested end users and the rising cost per barrel of mineral oil is increasing its image and financial viability. Impending legislation will ensure that a significant % of diesel sold in the UK has to be from renewable resources. Sustainable living and affordable housing has an increasingly very high World profile. See www.wetplc.co.uk
The above facilities and technology will be provided and promoted through our clients following complimentary companies:
The Carbon Reduction Consortium Ltd and other affiliated companies for delivery of contracting, engineering consultancy and project management in energy conservation, renewable & alternative energy. Training of associates and access to affiliated companies and their training and expertise/products and payment of commission.
The Bamford Group and The Energy Saver and affiliates for resourcing, appointment making, initial on site assistance & training of associates. Also for sales of some energy saving equipment and electrical contracting.
Energy Services Group for home energy efficiency surveys and installations, Decent Homes surveys and employment opportunities.
